The Bible is not a collection of stories. It is one story of God's plan to rescue His people from sin and death. It is the story of redemption, the gospel message of Jesus Christ. And it's our story, too.
For the summer weeks we will see how Jesus teaches in stories and demonstrates in signs. When Jesus is telling a parable about the kingdom or giving us an example to follow, He's doing FAR MORE than coaching behavior, He is telling us about Who He is and that the kingdom has come with Him, and He is the One we follow.
This fall, starting in late September we are going to continue The Gospel Project, learning the thread of redemption weaving through Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.
The Gospel Project for Adults takes men and women on a chronological, Christ-centered journey through the story line of Scripture. Participants will encounter God's plan of redemption in Scripture through study of the biblical narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith, and the call to call God's mission locally and around the world.
Jesus is not just a story teller, He is a miracle-worker. And these parables and amazing miracles we'll see paint a picture of the coming kingdom.
